Writing and Publishing

I once had a conversation with a man who had been a school principal for many years. He had retired and was asking me about how I managed to remain so busy after my retirement, and be so happy about it. He was bored and wanted ideas for how he could stay busy by doing something useful. He was interested when I suggested he could become a writer, but he had no idea how to begin, and dealing with a publisher seemed out of his reach.

Newcomers club members include some published authors who have experience with writing and publishing. We intend on holding one or more face-to-face events that put aspiring writers and published authors together.
